The effects of living with a terminal or life-restricting condition are complex, often devastating and far-reaching, and include psychological, social, and emotional elements for the patient and their families, friends and wider social groups.
Digital and mobile technologies, together with social media, offer the opportunity to engage people living with chronic illness; especially those facing potential isolating situations, in new, more creative and meaningful ways.
Creative Skills For Life – CSL – is a social venture and campaigning organisation which aims to enable people living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions to come together and explore their creative potential as a catalyst for healing and personal development.
Through this programme CSL anticipates demonstrating, objectively, scientifically and definitively that creativity is beneficial for health and wellbeing.
